Catalogue of the Works Catalogue raisonné
Since its founding in 2021, the Josef Šíma Foundation has been dedicated to caring for the artistic legacy of Josef Šíma, one of the most significant figures of Czech and European modern art.
The Foundation’s principal project is the authorised catalogue raisonné of Josef Šíma’s work, which it was entrusted to prepare by the artist’s family and the holder of the copyright in his work.
Archival sources and documentation, which form the basis of the forthcoming catalogue, are currently being researched and processed.
